Jeanne Lee

Jeanne will be teaching yin style yoga at Camaraderie. Throughout her yoga career she has taught various styles of yoga such as adaptive, chair, gentle, and yin. She is also a  licensed Acupuncturist and traditional Chinese herbalist. Her 15 year background as an Oriental Medical practitioner blends ancient wisdom, yin/yang theory, 5 element theory, and yoga asana. Her classes are designed  to open channels and pathways in the body, regulate the nervous system through grounding practices and gentle movement, incorporate breathwork, and yin style asana. Her intention is to provide and hold space for students to feel connected to self and spirit. 

Jeanne studied at Southwest Acupuncture College and received her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. She is board certified by the National Certification Commision for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, which includes Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine.  She is also 200-hour yoga certified with Lori McAlister and Erica Taxin Bleznak,  holds a 25-Hr Yin certification with Corina Benner, trained in Adaptive Yoga with Kerri Hanlon, and Wall Training with Erica Taxin Bleznak.

She resides in Plymouth Meeting with her 12 year old son, Bodhi. Her acupuncture practice is located in Conshohocken.  She is a lover of independent and foreign films, animals, and exploring ethnic cuisines.  In her free time she enjoys nature, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
